Dr. Jim Moore

Dr. Jim Moore was awarded his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 1971.

Dr. Moore excelled in his academic pursuits. He was a Dean's List student and was inducted into Phi Zeta Honor Society and Alpha Psi Honor Society and graduated with distinction in 1971.

Dr Moore has been in practice for more than 35 years and owned and operated Pet Medical Center up until 2007, at which time he sold the practice to Dr. Robert Dammeyer and Todd Herzog. Over the years, the positive feedback and expressions of satisfaction which Dr. Moore and his staff have received from their clients have made their work all the more rewarding and worthwhile. Because of this Dr. Moore will continue to practice at Apple Tree Cove into the future.

A Poulsbo Rotarian since 1977, a former volunteer EMT for the Kingston Ambulance, volunteer for the Puget Sound Pinneped Rehabilitation Center and the Wildhaven Wildlife Center, Dr. Moore has been a contributor to the local community.

Dr. Moore, wife Sharon and daughter Natalie enjoy gardening, traveling, reading, water activities and spending time with their cat named Gator and their Norfolk terrier named Seiko.
