Dr. Rachel Strohmeyer
Originally from Montana, Dr. Rachel Strohmeyer attended Montana State University where she studied Animal Science. During her third year of undergraduate studies, Dr. Strohmeyer received early acceptance into Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She began her veterinary studies in 1994 and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1998.
As an undergraduate and as a veterinary student, Dr. Strohmeyer excelled in her studies. She was awarded numerous scholarships, made Dean's List and graduated with honors. At Montana State University, she was a member of Phi Zeta, the Agriculture Honor Society and was class speaker at her veterinary school graduation. Along with her DVM Degree, she also earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Sciences and Epidemiology from Colorado State University.
With professional interests in dermatology and internal medicine, Dr. Strohmeyer has been an associate veterinarian at Pet Medical Center since 2002.
Dr. Strohmeyer enjoys spending free time with her husband, Chris, their young son named Eric, and their 3 dogs and cat. Some hobbies and activities that she enjoys include sea kayaking, hiking, shopping and stamping.
