Eric Sutten, Managing DVM
Dr. Eric Sutten was born in McCleary, Washington and raised in Elma, Washington. Being raised in rural Washington allowed significant exposure to a variety of different animals. His family has owned cattle, swine, poultry, dogs, and cats. It is no surprise that by eight years of age he wanted to be a veterinarian.
After high school Dr. Sutten moved to Ellensburg, WA where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Washington University. After graduating in 2006 he moved to Pullman, where he earned his Master of Science in Veterinary Science at Washington State University. During his three year graduate program, Dr. Sutten focused on immunology and infectious disease.
Dr. Sutten obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2013. During his veterinary studies he focused on mixed animal medicine. Following graduation Dr. Sutten worked for three years as a mixed animal practitioner in Moses Lake, WA.
One of Dr. Sutten's professional interests is internal medicine. More specifically he enjoys infectious disease, immunology, and endocrinopathies. He also enjoys soft tissue surgery and hopes to build on his experience in orthopedic surgery.
Outside of the clinic Dr. Sutten spends time with his lovely wife Kathleen (who is also a veterinarian) and their two dogs: Dixie and Walker. He also enjoys spending time outdoors: fishing, hiking, camping, and furthering his understanding of the biological world.
Dr. Sutten is excited to have purchased a home in Kingston and looks forward to developing and nourishing a relationship with the community in and outside the veterinary practice.
Randy Kraft, Associate DVM
Dr. Randy Kraft has lived in Washington for many years. After earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992, he spent years in the Carolinas with his wife, an accomplished animal shelter veterinarian. They have two school age sons.
Although Dr. Kraft has always had many different pets, he feels like every patient he sees is a little bit his own to look after. These include not only dogs and cats, but rabbits, lizards, guinea pigs and various other pets. Dr. Kraft enjoys many aspects of his profession, including dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, and maintaining optimum wellness.
Dr. Kraft enjoys keeping up with his boys both indoors and out, but still finds time for playing in an orchestra or two, baking bread (a blue ribbon winner at the Washington State Fair!), gardening with edible landscaping, and raising ducks.
