Dr. Chelsea Barker gained an intrest in veterinary medicine early on in life. She spent her early years horseback riding and working on farms. After she finished her undergraduate education in Equine Sience in Kentucky, she attented Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Barker specializes in preventative care, exotic medicine, integrative medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. She loves spending time with owners and helping pets live longer though education. She enjoys seeing dogs and cats, especially sport dogs like border collies, whippets, and shepherd breeds. She has gained experience working with many small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and backyard poultry. In her free time, Dr. Barker loves spending her time with her family and dogs outdoors whether kayaking, camping or taking beach trips in the PNW. She also does sports with her dogs particularly frisbee, dock diving, and barn hunt.
